Our vision is to pioneer human-centered computational models, algorithms, and immersive technologies that transform how people and intelligent machines work together. Rather than designing systems that replace humans, we create AI, robotics, and XR systems that amplify human cognitive, physical, and social capabilities. We define “human” broadly, spanning stakeholders across the product and service lifecycle: designers imagining new solutions, industrial workers collaborating with robots, and operators making complex, high-stakes decisions. Across these contexts, our research advances human–AI–robot teaming, cognitive and skill augmentation, and extended embodiment through XR. Our mission is to reimagine the future of work and human experience by developing intelligent systems that are adaptive, transparent, resilient, and grounded in human agency. We aim to create technologies that respond to human needs, preserve human agency, and expand what people can achieve beyond the limits of automation or human effort alone.
